Join us on Tuesday nights for a FREE mid-week training session
Half Marathon Training Program: Get ready for your next – or first Half marathon with this 10 week program! Whether you have never run a half marathon or are looking to P.R., this all-women training group is for you! We will have pace groups for you ranging from a 9:45 minute per mile runners to 14 minute per mile run/walk.
We are currently training for the Hippy Chick Half Marathon in May.
Starting location will vary each week.
Here’s what you get:
- Saturday group long runs – 9:00 a.m. (as runs get longer the start time will move earlier to 8:00 a.m.) from Tigard /Tualatin area and downtown Portland.
- Tuesday evening Track workouts – Tigard High/Cook Park @ 6:30 or 7:30 p.m. (depending on season)
- Free Runner Chick Shirt for Half Marathon Gals!
- Goodie Bag with special “Runner Chick” goodies!
- Training Program to follow.
- Great give aways, samples and discounts from Road Runner Sports and other various retailers.
- Special Speakers and short seminars covering everything from hydration/nutrition to staying motivated!
